No, Grime is not for nerds and not from the ‘burbs, but not just about crime, if I’ve a little time I might watch the birds when they stop to perch, ‘n drop a little churps for miss hot and miss perfect.  And I might curse, might be cross at first, but wouldn’t be shocked if I’m robbed on the curb. Trust me, I can be proper at work, can prosper in dirt, but what do I do when the cops stop n search?

No need to freeze like a statue, but don’t act too macho cos they’ll match you, stay composed like a rap tune and get to know this statute: The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, no don’t think you’re better than facts and hate me more. Ignorance is bliss, but impotence is the risk, so at the very least you need to listen to this: Read sections 1-3 ‘n the code of conduct a- c, but patiently, make them see, there’s more to you than your mates can see.

Alright, listen, there must be reasonable suspicion, so forget prison, they must have information based on more than they’re vision. Background facts is, more than spotting black kids, so make sure you practice until you can rap this and not only hold your temper but your audience captive.

And they can’t lay a finger on ya, even if they’re stronger they need a real reason to even ponder that conduct. So don’t run first or punch any person, once searched, just hunt the written version. Go on, don’t laugh at this, just ask for it, and you must receive the report fast innit, within a short time limit, I can’t believe this is the law and I’m rhymin’ it!!!
