The Exchange

For those that have not seen this yet, Unlock Democracy’s predecessor organisation Charter 88 was both inspired by and launched in solidarity with the Czech and Slovak civic movement Charter 77.  Charter 77 has, in turn, inspired pro-democracy supporters in China to launch Charter 08 (零八宪章) on 10 December 2008 (the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
