Rights beyond law in UCL

Other Events: 13th October 2009, 7 - 8:00pm
Seminar Room 4, Laws Faculty

Attention all non-law students!

Are you an archaeologist looking to uncover social justice bones of contention?
As a zoologist, can human rights say anything to animal rights?
Hey! That’s some ‘hella community space you just crafted Madame Architect!
Could dignity count as a legitimate variable when conducting a cost/benefit analysis?

Doctors and journalists without borders? What about accountants, engineers, artists, anthropologists and epidemiologists without borders?

If you’re a non-law student looking to join a dynamic and pro-active human rights organisation then the UCL SHRP is the student society for you! In order to take full advantage of the diversity at UCL we are looking for members from all disciplines who want to be more than pedestrians in university.

For information on joining one of the teams, or
- to find out more about the programme directly from our members
- want to get directly involved in our wide array of student-led activities, projects and research work
- want to find out how you can turn your ideas into functioning initiatives

then hey! Contact our human resources diva Fiona on without delay!

New members are always welcome all year round too!
